[the world through my lens]

I LOVE LOVE LOVE taking pictures!!! You can ask the people who are around me the most about my photo craze. I like to randomly take out my camera whenever I feel like it is a photographic moment in my head. It doesn't even have to be anything special. There's just something about capturing a certain angle or certain moment that entices me and makes me happy! :D Most of the pictures that I have posted in the first two blog entries are from my old phone (Sony Ericsson 880i) and the rest are from my old camera (Olympus Stylus 400). The camera I currently use is a Canon SD 880 IS which I love a lot. <3 I also use my phone to capture moments when I don't have my camera with me. I recently bought a DSLR (Canon Rebel XS)!:D There is minor Picasa or Photoshop editing for some of the pictures. I know these aren't the best pictures in the world, but enjoy them anyway because they are special to me! :) p.s. clicking on the pictures will let you look at them big version :)

stuff on my desk

Sadly, I got so bored I decided to take my camera out and take pictures of random things on my desk. I have found that doing a photoshoot of inanimate objects is pretty interesting. Here it goes!

please excuse the dust on my toy motorcycle.

mystery bunny!

So Friday afternoon I came home and I was doing my own thing and then a few hours later my mom informs me that there has been a bunny making itself at home on my front yard. I did not believe her at first and totally laughed. I pictured a small, cute bunny just hopping around and minding its own business. And then yesterday when we went out to lunch and such, I SAW THE BUNNY! It was hiding under one of the flower bushes that we have and munching on something. I got on my knees (literally) and tried to get the best picture of it I could with my camera phone just in case I didn't see it again. When we got home, it disappeared. And then it rained last night and this morning so I really wonder where it went. A few hours ago, my mom was looking out the window and lo and behold, The Bunny decided to reappear. First on our grass, then on our neighbor's driveway, and then our neighbor's front yard. I rushed to the window as my mom told me this and in my excited state I asked if I should and could go out and take a picture of it. Seeing that I was wearing pj pants, she told me to change first. So I did and ran out the door over to my neighbor's front yard curb. (I felt like a creeper at this point but I didn't step foot onto his grass so I think i was okay. AND i took all the pictures within 2 minutes or less) I quickly snapped a few shots of this mysterious bunny and quickly ran back into my house. haha..oh what an adventure that was. Enjoy the following pictures of the mysterious Bunny :D
